March is designated as Creative Economy and Arts in Education Month in Philadelphia, celebrating the city's dynamic creative sector. The Arts Administrators of Color (AAC) is dedicated to enriching Philadelphia's cultural landscape by supporting artists, cultural organizations, and creative enterprises. Their mission is to foster a thriving arts community that enhances the quality of life for all residents and visitors.
We’re excited to share that the Arts and Culture Council (AAC) partnered with DiasporaDNA to host the Philly Festivals Mixer, a dynamic event bringing together festival organizers, artists, and cultural leaders from across the city.
This gathering was an opportunity for community builders to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate Philadelphia’s thriving festival scene. With engaging discussions, networking, and a shared commitment to supporting local cultural events, the mixer highlighted the power of collaboration in strengthening our creative economy.
